Create a read-only API key

Verification needs to read your trade history and nothing else. Every guide below produces a key that can look but never touch — no orders, no transfers, no withdrawals. Hyperliquid needs no key at all: you connect your wallet and sign a message. Pick your exchange and follow the steps.

Read-only is not a promise, it is a permission. The exchange itself enforces what the key can do. If a guide ever asks you to enable trading or withdrawals, stop — Preuval never needs either.
